Lobbying lacks oversight

During the legislative approval process of amendment to the Labor Code, lobbying among the parliamentary deputies was a hot topic. While in Brussels lobbyists must be registered, in Slovakia there are no rules for lobbying enacted. Institutionalization of lobbying in Slovakia – a step forward?

Hospodárske noviny in a successful longterm project Find a job with HN every week in the regular supplement Kariéra (Career) publish stories of candidates – mostly fresh graduates – for a vacant position, their CV, picture, evaluation and their potential career path in year 2012 too. Members of the commission, which assess candidates, became also experts of the consulting company Amrop Slovakia.

Coffee time with Amrop

On December in comfortable club rooms at the headquarters of the JENEWEIN GROUP an initial event of the series of Coffee time, for this once as Coffee time with Amrop took place. We have discussed the topic of Retained (and other) Executive Search companies in Slovakia over a cup of gourmet coffee. Network of stores Casa del Caffé and Mr Michal Šturc – perhaps the most respected coffee expert in Slovakia, have become partners of the event.

We have become one of signatories of the PAS Code of Ethics

Business Alliance of Slovakia (PAS) organized a conference Transparent Business. The main theme of the event which was "How to ensure a stable environment and fair rules for the development of your company". As part of the conference was also a press conference of PAS where Martin Krekáč, president of PAS and Senior Partner of JENEWEIN GROUP presented the main results of the project Prevention of unfair business and the PAS Code of Ethics. JENEWEIN GROUP and companies of its portfolio have become one of its signatories.

HR for children. THANK YOU!

Following a long-term partnership with Children’s safety line, a part of Slovak UNICEF Committee, Amrop Slovakia – member of Jenewein Group, supports actively a charitable 21 km run for children. Besides that Amrop prepares an own run-team for each year, it committed to address a large “human resources community“ and under the slogan HR for children. THANK YOU! connect the most of active entrants from particular companies. 166 runners ran on September 11, 2011 on Partizánska lúka in Bratislava 1 640 km. Children’s safety line became more than 10 000 EUR!

The project evaluates the important measures affecting the quality of life of citizens in Slovakia.
