Hospodárske noviny are continuing in a project Find a job with HN. Every week they publish one story of a candidate for a vacant position, his CV, picture, evaluation and his potential career path. Member of the commission which assesses prerequisites and chances of success on the labour market in a simulated interview became Marek Hradílek, Consultant of the consulting company Amrop Slovakia.

The Lost City Project

JENEWEIN GROUP through FIPRA Slovakia supports the unique project of Europe-wide significance in order to preserve the memory of the lost cultural heritage – virtual recovery of now physically not existing outer bailey of Bratislava.

A Benefit Christmas tree of Children’s Safety line was a part of Christmas market at Hviezdoslavovo námestie in Bratislava. HR for children. THANK YOU!

Following a long-term partnership with Children’s safety line, a part of Slovak UNICEF Committee, Amrop Slovakia – member of Jenewein Group, supports actively a charitable 21 km run for children. Besides that Amrop prepares an own run-team for each year, it committed to address a large “human resources community“ and under the slogan HR for children. THANK YOU! connect the most of active entrants from particular companies. 166 runners ran on September 11, 2011 on Partizánska lúka in Bratislava 1 640 km. Children’s safety line became more than 10 000 EUR!

Evuluation of Self-Governing Measures

Consulting company Amrop Slovakia supports the project Evaluation of Self-governing Measures, which is created by Center for Economic Development (CPHR) in co-operation with Slovak Association of Towns and Cities (ZMOS). The project evaluates the important measures affecting the quality of life of citizens in Slovakia. Competitive regions 21

Since July 2009 The Business Alliance of Slovakia worked on the project, which main goal was to analyze competitiveness of the districts in Slovakia, to highlight the competitive advantages and disadvantages of each district and to formulate basic recommendations for their intensive development. The result of this intensive research is the Index of regional business environment that ranks districts in Slovakia by the quality of the business environment. Collected parameters allow comparing the districts in detail and identifying their strengths and weaknesses.

Lobbying lacks oversight

During the legislative approval process of amendment to the Labor Code, lobbying among the parliamentary deputies was a hot topic. While in Brussels lobbyists must be registered, in Slovakia there are no rules for lobbying enacted. Coffee time with Amrop

On December in comfortable club rooms at the headquarters of the JENEWEIN GROUP an initial event of the series of Coffee time, for this once as Coffee time with Amrop took place. We have discussed the topic of Retained (and other) Executive Search companies in Slovakia over a cup of gourmet coffee. We have become one of signatories of the PAS Code of Ethics

Business Alliance of Slovakia (PAS) organized a conference Transparent Business. The main theme of the event which was "How to ensure a stable environment and fair rules for the development of your company". A special edition of the series was in July prepared at the summer festival Bažant Pohoda. At the extremely successful event that led to an enthusiastic audience interest, Amrop was represented by Michal Lukáč, Consultant.
