RSS
RSS is an abbreviation of Really Simple Syndication. RSS is a format for collecting news, website content of press character and personal weblogs. RSS can be used everywhere where it is possible to reduce to small articles, e.g. “website news” or “history of programme application versions” etc. After processing the information about each article to RSS format or RSS channel (RSS feed) It is possible to view this information in specialized programme. Such programme – called also RSS aggregator – accesses RSS files in intervals determined by the user, which are located on respective Internet server and monitors changes. If there is a new article on the server, the article is subsequently registered and added to RSS channel. The RSS aggregator reads the change and subsequently marks respective notice as unread.
