The Lost City Project

In 2009, we became one of the partners of memorial The Noble Souls Park (Park ušľachtilých duší) which was built in Zvolen as pious gratitude to all Slovak citizens who rescued Jews during World War II. In 2011, in order to contribute to preserve the memory of lost cultural heritage, we joined the support of the long-term project The Lost City (Stratené mesto) that makes the now not physically existing part of Bratislava – Podhradie (outer bailey) comes alive virtually. The project aims to produce in the minds of younger generations and visitors of the city a virtual experience of a district which was demolished in 1969. The project will not only commemorate important buildings and residents but also important historical events – the part of the project will be implemented through “the tram of historical memory". The initiator of the project is the Israeli Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia which joined to support a wide range of public institutions and private companies, including us, what has highlighted the uniqueness and Europe-wide reach of this initiative.
