Brain Awareness Week

Brain Awareness Week is the name of an international event which has been regularly organized in 61 countries of the world including Slovakia since 1996. Its main goal is to draw attention to the human brain and its functioning. This initiative is driven by two organizations – an international professional organization Society for Neuroscience and the non-profit organization The Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives which brings together more than 265 prominent scientists and is focused on increasing the public awareness about the findings of the brain research. Since we are actively involved in the application of neuroscience knowledge into the managerial practice which resulted to the innovation and continuous improvement of the Context Driven Leadership Assessment, we became one of the partners of the campaign Brain Awareness Week. In 2013 we registered into the international calendar of activities organized during this campaign also the working breakfast on topic Neuroscience in Business with Executive Coach and Neuroscience Consultant Tara Swart as the main speaker. The event was intended for the invited guests and was held on March 21, 2013 in Bratislava.
