Meet the new chiefs: How do corporate managers perform in the public sector?

Next event from the series Meet the new chiefs took place on April 5, 2017 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Bratislava. Consulting company Amrop has welcomed the invited participants and presented them inspirational stories of other two leaders: Miroslav Kočan, General Director of Všeobecná zdravotná poisťovňa (state-owned health insurance company), and Martin Kohút, President of Slovak Ice Hockey Association. Moderated discussion led by Juraj Porubský, editor-in-chief of Slovak edition of Forbes magazine, was kicked off by the main question of the evening: How do corporate managers perform in the public sector?. In a nice and open conversation, the guests also talked about what was their motivation to change it from PRIVATE to PUBLIC, about motivation, responsibility, emotions, or quality of life. Even thanks to an excellent moderator, they have shown attentive audiences that even serious things can be said with humor and levity.
