Amrop Slovakia was represented by the Managing Partner Igor Šulík who actively took part in regional practice group sessions. He said that one of the many positive points of the general assembly may be considered the option of Jimmy Chen, Managing Partner of Amrop China, as a new member of the Board. The fact that the Board of The Amrop Group consists of eleven members of ten nationalities is in practice the confirmation of a global dimension of the group and a capability to approach sophistically to the various needs of clients. An important part of the conference was the introduction of new partners-companies Amrop Fair Path from Saudi Arabia and Amrop Parker Executive Search of Atlanta as an additional representative in the USA. The conference participants, along with representatives of partner IMD University, discussed leadership issues and challenges that global business leaders will be facing in the coming years. The discussion was part of a long-term survey focused on what type of leadership is needed by fast growing companies. The result will be a common study of Amrop and IMD University. Its disclosure is scheduled for next spring. At the end of the conference, Ulrich Dade (Germany), the Chairman of the Board, presented three strategic initiatives of Amrop related to internal succession, strengthening of the Leadership Services sector within portfolio diversification and new approaches in the field of Executive Search.
