Corporates for children. THANK YOU!

9.9.2015

We ran again to help for children on Sunday, September 6, 2015. Via traditional initiative Corporates for children. THANK YOU! Amrop Slovakia is actively supporting one of Children's Safety Line’s main events – the run 21 km for children. Already for the sixth time we were uniting our partners, clients and general public for a good cause. In the addition of the fact that we have a great feeling because the event ended successfully and especially because we are supporting of Children Safety’s Line, we are also proud of our victories: the members of our Amrop team won two first places for the 7 km long run – in the men’s and junior’s category, then we reached the two first places for the 3 km long run (women and juniors). Amrop dedicated the bounteous gift basket to the winner of all teams’ competition, where we reached the second place, while our team was the most numerous. We also reached our ambition (which was set up in the year of celebration of our 25th anniversary – to run 125 km). Together we ran 146 km. Except of that we were involved in preparation and organization of the event with our voluntary activities. The run 21 km for children has its sporting, social and family, but mostly charitable dimension – all of the money collected from the entry fee or from the gifts will be directly used for the activities of Children's Safety Line.

The event gave a great opportunity to have some talk and fun with friends or colleagues from the HR area and also to meet the new people – but without expert topics, presentations, partners or products. Almost a hundred of invited guests took this chance and certainly none of them regretted it – the excellent music guest as Sima Martausová and Barbara Weiss played at the event for good listening and to spark a dance. The other parts of the program were prepared, such as a tasting of wine of family winery Vínko Klimko from Modra, a raffle and delicious savory and sweet hospitality too. So we are looking forward to the next year.
