Traditional Amrop CEE meeting with the motto: THE POWER OF ONE TEAM

20.9.2022

In the second half of September, the annual Amrop CEE meeting took place again. Almost seven dozen representatives of Amrop Executive Search companies from 20 countries of Central and Eastern Europe welcomed the opportunity to meet in person. TeamEvent 2022 took place from 16 to 19 September 2022 at Negroponte Resort in Greece. Amrop in Slovakia was represented by the four partners Ladislava Molnárová, Matej Taliga, Marek Hradílek and Rastislav Mackanič. The program of the event was based on the main motto The Power of One Team. The core of the expert part was filled by the presentation of the vision and strategy of The Amrop Partnership and workshops in practice groups aimed at further improving cooperation within the CEE region, identifying weaknesses and strengths and new opportunities, and brainstorming best practices and experiences when working with clients and candidates beyond the borders. As part of the social and sports part, the participants took part in several activities by the seacoast and at sea. A time of joint dinners and evenings spent on the charming Greek island of Evia with its calm clean sea, hidden corners and tourist attractions was undoubtedly the source of inspiration and strengthening of contacts.

The concert Chyťme sa za ruky traditionally with Jenewein Group´s support

30.5.2022

Jenewein Group has been supporting a beneficial event Chyťme sa za ruky (Let us hold hands) for several years. The 13th annual edition was held on May 29, 2022, in the courtyard of the historic neo-Gothic manor house in Galanta, for mentally and physically handicapped children and adults from institutes and facilities to integrate and include them in more than a hundred "regular" visitors. As Milan Štefánik, the founder of the Civic Association for mentally handicapped, wrote to us in gratitude, the disabled clients of these facilities have almost no opportunity to participate in a music concert or other event during the year. Therefore, every year, the Civic Association organizes a meaningful benefit concert for them, in which mostly children are actively involved with their own program. Traditionally, a number of singers and bands, including guests from abroad, performed at the concert that is pro bono (IMT Smile, Desmod, Kristína, Zumba Sonnyes, etc.), while this year Jožo Pročko was the presenter. The program was complemented by creative workshops, dance lessons, decorating plaster casts, face painting and hot wax painting on the paper wax or canvas painting.

Jenewein Group as the general partner of the ceremonial release of the album Miro Žbirka The Last Things

18.5.2022

The consulting group Jenewein Group is the general partner of the ceremonial release of the album Miro Žbirka The Last Things (Posledné veci). In the presence of Meky's family, friends and other guests, the album was officially released and "baptized" by the singer Katarína Knechtová on 18 May 2022 in Lucerna, Prague. This is the fifteenth studio album by Miroslav Žbirka who had managed to compose and record it before his death in November last year. He did not manage to complete it but his son David Žbirka finalized his work with the help of friendly producers and musicians. The author of the album cover is the Slovak photographer Peter Župník. The first single from the record Miro Žbirka feat. David Žbirka – Nejsi sám/Nie si sám (You Are Not Alone) came out on February 24, 2022. We enjoyed this event in the company of our friends and partners like many other connections with Meky – our Czech-Slovak singer legend – which we established during our strong friendship and long-term partnership.

Innovations in the Jenewein Group have also been reflected in the redesign of the corporate identity

28.4.2022

At the end of first quarter of 2022, we have completed the redesign of the corporate identity of the Jenewein Group, which we had started by preparing PF 2022 visual with the #new22 hashtag. Main changes are visible in the adjustment of the logo, desktop and mobile website and other elements of external communication, including presentation on social networks. We have connected all the news with the innovation of our services and Jenewein CZ | SK advisory platforms, within which our teams are also active in global partnerships and networks. The key message is the change in communication of the Jenewein Group brand as a Czech-Slovak and family consulting brand so that it is distinguishable from global consulting brands and their entities that are part of the group (Amrop, Fipra and CEC Group).

We are co-authors of publication that will help family businesses in the generational change

7.4.2022

The generation of entrepreneurs who founded companies in the nineties of the 20th century is gradually passing them on to their descendants and is currently facing challenges that will determine the future of their companies. According to the European Commission, family businesses make up more than 60% of the total number of companies in Europe. Despite the fact that they account for a significant share of Member States' GDP and employ a large part of the population, the attention paid to their unique problems is slowly fading. Succession planning, i.e. the gradual transfer of the family business to the next generation, is one of these specific topics. Therefore, Slovak Business Agency decided to issue the publication Succession in Family Businesses – How to Get Started, whose goal is to share experience and practical advice and help family businesses to avoid useless mistakes. The guarantor and author of one of the chapters (How professional help from outside can help a family business) is Martin Krekáč, founding partner and chairman of the Jenewein Group. The publication was published in April 2022 in printed and electronic form and we will pass it to dozens of family businesses from the ranks of our clients through the advisory platform Jenewein private.
