Events

Beach volley cup 2006

1.7.2006

Sport teambuilding events became new tradition of consultancy AJG-Amrop Jenewein Group business life. At the end of June its employees met on June 30, 2006 near Senecké jazerá, where the main activities were beach volley and tennis. Four teams played in the former discipline even sets and after final fight which won team consisted of Váji Nagyová, Marián Lutovský and Róbert Durkaj obtained challenge prize Chairmen Martin's Challenge Cup. Although official rules were slightly changed with aim to increase attractiveness of event, tournament fulfilled the main function: active rest supported with joy from movement and strengthening of reciprocal contacts.

Effective HR Management

27.6.2006

Institute for International Research arranged the conference on Effective HR Management which was held in Bratislava and intended for the target group of personnel directors, human resources managers, heads of personnel departments. Its content was to be the professional programme set on 26th and 27th June 2006 and then the workshop set on 28th June on the subject of Personnel work in the times of changes. Organizers in their best efforts to fulfill the central motto of the event-Let´s seek for the traces left by HR management in the company profit-approached the consulting group AJG-Amrop Jenewein Group with a question on assistance to their programme creation. As a result of this dialogue, during the second day of the conference Radomír Mako gave his speech on the theme of What´s the influence of the level of benefits system on the TOP management?.

Projects for our Schools

6.6.2006

On 6th of June 2006 Institute for Public Administration organized in the area of Bratislava Water Company conference as a part of Projects for our Schools, which has been realized since September 2005. Project is co-financed by European Social Fund and also supported by Ministry of Education of SR. One day event opened presentation of project and results of its monitoring. The Event attended also Martin Krekáč, Co-Founder and Group Chairman of AJG-Amrop Jenewein Group and a president of Business alliance of Slovakia. In his presentation he focused on opportunity of connecting private and public sector in educational activities.

Lisbon strategy in a conditions of Slovakia

Information Office of European Parliament in Slovakia in a cooperation with Business alliance of Slovakia has organized conference about Lisbon strategy in a conditions of Slovakia, implementation of Lisbon objectives in Slovakia, possibility of Slovak contribution to European environment, which will be held on 25th of May 2006 in Bratislava. The conference was consisted of two parts: first was Economy programmes of political parties before the election from the point of Lisbon strategy and second was the Lisbon strategy, Minerva and competitivness of Slovak republic. On of the participans in a panel discussion in second part was also Martin Krekáč, Co-Founder and Group Chairman of AJG-Amrop Jenewein Group and a president of Business alliance of Slovakia.

Slovakdays in Brussels

On the occasion of 2nd anniversary of the Slovakia accesion to EU and NATO and of the 1st year after opening the House of Slovak Regions in Brussels an event titled Slovakdays in Brussels was held since 24th of April to 12th of May 2006. Among event organisers, there were House of Slovak Regions, Committee of the Regions, Permanent Representation of the Slovak Republik to the European Union, Representative Office of the Slovak Republic in Belgium, Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic, Mr. Pál Csáky-Deputy Prime Minister of the SR, Mr. Ján Figeľ-Member of the European Commission etc, among sponsors, there was AJG European Office in Brussels. During nineteen days there were held many events: a conference titled Slovak Regions-their perspectives, possibilities and potential for growth and employment, several exhibitions, receptions, film presentations, cultural appearances and information fora. Programme of Slovakdays in Brussels culminated on 28th of April by dressing a famous Brussels´ landmark, a symbol of Brussels and Belgium-the statue of the naked boy, well-known as Manneken Pis, in Slovak folk costume.

Financial & Marketing Summit 2006

On 16th March in Bratislava´s Holiday Inn Hotel, INCOMA Slovakia in cooperation with the company GfK Slovakia organized the 3rd year of the international conference Financial & Marketing Summit 2006. Its aim was to analyze the status quo of financial sector with pressure on the relationship PEOPLE-FINANCE, present new opportunities of the financial market in relation with the transition to single European currency and reveal some possible traps and eliminate their negative impacts. In front of audience comprising top managers of prominent banks, insurance, leasing and IT companies, Igor Šulík, partner of the consulting group AJG-Amrop Jenewein Group, gave his speech, too. In his lecture entitled Importance of Corporate Governance principles´implementation from the investment point of view he addressed-besides other issues-the significance and fundamental pillars of improving the quality „corporate governance", which is of bearing preconditions for individual companies to relatively easily enter the capital markets.

To introduce National report about accomplishing European Commission working program Education and professional preparation 2010 and present new strategies of lifelong learning, lifelong guidance and learning regions was the main aim of international seminar called Strategy of lifelong learning in Slovak Republic. The seminar was organized on 8. March 2006 in Bratislava by Ministry Of Education. Participant of panel discussion was also Martin Krekáč leading partner and co-founder of AJG-Amrop Jenewein Group. Contribution of the seminar is mainly underlined by the output-proposal of implementation strategy for lifelong learning, lifelong guidance and support of learning regions in context of fulfilling main targets of European Commission program Education and Training 2010.
