Culture & People was the topic of this year´s meeting of Amrop CEE in La Clusaz

20.9.2017

This year, the annual Amrop CEE meeting returned to the La Clusaz tourist center in France. Executive Search representatives of Central and Eastern European companies operating under the common brand Amrop met on September 15 – 18, 2017 for the eleventh time, with the Slovak office represented by Marek Hradílek and Lucia Nacíková. The motto Culture & People was the central theme. These two terms, and their real fulfillment, are the main factors determining the uniqueness, excellence and long-term success of Amrop. The core of the program's expert part included workshops focused on the values of Amrop (Agility, Caring, Curiosity, Ethics, Excellence and Inclusion), just as the partners summed them up in July this year at a global conference in Athens. Nearly 50 participants have been involved not only in their definition, but also in their implementation in everyday life – whether in interaction with clients and candidates, or in internal relationships in individual offices and teams. During the social-leisure part, in relatively cold weather, the participants could enjoy and warm up with the Dragon Boats race on Lake Annecy, by looking for a treasure in the corners of La Clusaz and biathlon, or during common dinners and evenings by the fireplace with a view at the alpine hills.

Corporates for children. THANK YOU! – Let’s help those, who help others

11.9.2017

We run to help for children on Sunday, September 10. Amrop was actively supporting one of Children's Safety Line’s main events – the run 21 km for children. Already for the eight time we were uniting our partners, clients and general public for a good cause with the common logo Corporates for children. THANK YOU! Except of that we were going to involve in preparation and organization of the event with our voluntary activities. The run 21 km for children has its sporting, social and family, but mostly charitable dimension – all of the money collected from the entry fee or from the gifts are directly used for the activities of Children's Safety Line. Corporates for children. THANK YOU! became a part of the European Week of Sport announced by the European Commission again. The annual European Week of Sport is designed to encourage a healthier lifestyle through physical activity. Focusing on grassroots initiatives, it showcases opportunities for all – regardless of age, background or fitness level. Let´s help those, who help others.

We also had a date with Our City

12.6.2017

Because we care about Bratislava, the city in which we were born or many of us chose it to be a new home, Jenewein Group, together with Amrop and Fipra and the advisory and analytical institute EPPP, became a part of the biggest corporate volunteer event called Naše Mesto (Our City). This year, we have decided to strengthen our relationships outside of the office and at the same time, we help where it is most needed. For Friday, June 9, 2017, from the Nadácia Pontis's (Pontis Foundation) rich offer, our team chose as an activity the painting of long rusty fence around the kindergarten on Kríková Street in Bratislava-Vrakuňa. We are proud that we belong to nearly 10,000 volunteers who joined the project Naše Mesto this year. Volunteer teams cleared 177 parks, gardens, or sports fields, painted over 7,000 fences and walls and washed about 900 windows.

HR pohoda

1.6.2017

The consulting company Amrop in Slovakia organized the third HR pohoda. Traditional event was held at the Pohoda restaurant in the Horský park in Bratislava on Wednesday, May 31, 2017. Amrop invited all managers, specialists and professionals who work in the world of HR departments. We believe that the event is once again a great and popular after work party in the city – it is a unique opportunity to have fun with friends and colleagues from the Human Resources Industry and meet new people without special topics, presentations and products. We and our guests were definitely dance and sing on the show of Katka Ščevlíková & Friends and the band Who's Got TIME and besides that we enjoyed good food and drinks.
