JENEWEIN GALLERY: Desk Planning Calendars | FIPRA Slovakia Collective
A desk calendar is often a small escape from everyday life. Popular themes include exotic destinations, family, animals or recipes – images that briefly draw the mind away from daily responsibilities. At FIPRA Slovakia, part of the Jenewein Group, however, we chose a different path years ago... The first FIPRA planning desk calendar was created in 2018. Each week featured photographs of team members captured at company meetings, social events and team-building activities throughout the previous year. The success of this idea led to the creation of a series of further editions, which came to an end in 2021 due to the pandemic. The calendars presented in the Jenewein gallery do not showcase distant places or dream destinations. Instead, they highlight moments of collaboration, shared experiences and the atmosphere that emerges wherever people come together – not only as colleagues, but as a team. Today, traditional printed calendars are no longer a frequently used tool for planning our days. Therefore, we are even more pleased that they hold a place in our history. They are a chronicle of several years shared together and a reminder that the most valuable images are not always found somewhere out in the world. Sometimes, they are right in front of us every day.
